Recognized for its robust end-to-end infrastructure solutions, SGH and SMART Global Holdings, Inc. has completed a brand transition to become Penguin Solutions, Inc. a transition that reflects the company’s commitment to providing the market with high-performance computing (HPC) solutions under one unified offering.
Under the new name, Penguin will offer design, build, deployment and management of next-generation enterprise infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) and beyond. The expertise and capabilities of Penguin Solutions promise to offer the flexibility and knowledge to create customized solutions that address customers’ specific needs.

The Cree LED brand, which is another SGH business unit specializing in application-optimized LED chips and components for high performance applications, will continue to do business under the Cree LED name.
