Gearing up for Business

Catoosa County (GA) Economic Development Authority (CCEDA)

Rather than the ‘winner takes it all’ approach, sixteen counties in three states – Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama – are cooperating to attract economic development to the entire region. The good news is that it is working for all of them, including Catoosa County in northwest Georgia, which shares a border with Tennessee and is just twenty minutes from Chattanooga, the main economic driver in the region.

Fueling the Economy, Enhancing Security and Improving the Environment

The Texas Oil and Gas Association

The Texas Oil and Gas Association (TXOGA) has a simple message: oil and natural gas are good for Texas and the United States in general. Oil and natural gas drive the Texas economy, generating billions of dollars in annual royalties and taxes while providing high-paying jobs to nearly 350,000 people. Surging oil and natural gas production has enhanced domestic security by making the U.S. less dependent on foreign fuel sources, while industry-funded innovations have had a positive environmental impact.

Natural Delights — The Name Says It All

Datepac

Sweet, succulent, nutritious Medjool dates are the pride of Morocco, where they have a history of cultivation stretching back thousands of years. However, happily for North American date fans, horticulturists brought Medjool shoots to the U.S. in the 1920s, and today, the descendants of these trees thrive under the watchful eye of the Bard Valley Date Growers Association. Once harvested, the dates sorted, graded, and packed by Datepac and shipped around the world.
